We talked about the process of Geranyl Pyrophosphate + Olivetolic Acid will get you CBG-A. We will continue down the same path with the following five steps. If you missed the last one and want to read it and follow along, you can do so here. The next five would be Cannabichromenic Acid (CBCA), Cannabidolic Acid (CBDA), Cannabidiol (CBD), Tetrahydrocannabinolic Acid (THCA), and Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC).

CBG-A can form Cannabichromenic Acid through decarboxylation at approximately 221 degrees Fahrenheit. During that process, you will get CBC after curation. CBC-A is also known as a Carboxylic Acid, an essential chemical containing hydrogen, Carbon, and Oxygen atoms. CBC is not in cannabis flower for large quantities and comes from the help of CBDA and THCA. CBC helps by being an anti-inflammatory, anti-depressant and has anti-tumor properties.
While it can convert to CBCA, it can also be a precursor to Cannabidolic Acid (CBDA). As discussed in the paragraph above, it goes through the same process as decarboxylation but at a different temperature for it to be active. Once heated at 158 degrees Fahrenheit, it would go through that decarboxylation process. CBDA helps by acting as an anti-nausea, potential anti-cancer, and anti-anxiety effect.
As you thought CBG-A could not do anymore, it can also produce another great cannabinoid THC-A. Pretty sure yall are tired of seeing the word decarboxylation, but once again, CBG-A decarboxylated can turn into the great THC-A. THCA has excellent benefits that can help you with everyday life. It has neuroprotective properties, Anti-emetic, and anti-inflammatory properties.
From CBD-A and THC-A, CBD-A can convert to what we all know is CBD, and the same with THCA when decarboxylated; it turns into what everyone loves THC. CBD is great for pain but is non-psychoactive, which will not give off a high effect. It helps with reducing anxiety and possibly neuroprotective effects. THC is responsible for that euphoric feeling you get whenever you use the product, as well as pain relief, anti-inflammatory, and helps increase appetite stimulation.
Decarboxylation is a big key to all the cannabinoids that turn into the other cannabinoids we know. These various processes with the Phyto cannabinoids lead to potential great health benefits, including pain, euphoria, and depression. Check out our other blogs that go into more depth about the cannabinoids discussed above, and even come in and check out our products that contain those cannabinoids. You will be satisfied!
